Shawna Caspi is a return performer with us, having played BobCat House Concerts back in 2016, and this time she’s bringing singer-songwriter Sarah Hiltz to the show.
Shawna is Ottawa-born but now based in Toronto. She puts her serious guitar chops to work accompanying herself on her award-winning songs that are by turns satirical and serious but always sharply observed and well crafted. She’s also become a painter; her last project Hurricane Coming was accompanied by a cycle of paintings inspired by the songs.
Sarah Hiltz brings an atmospheric voice, a slightly more confessional songwriting voice, and the tastiest electric guitar chops to her performances. She’s also won awards for her songwriting.
